space on one of the many servers in the Data Center, the
other benefits are maintenance, security, 24x7 network
monitoring and bandwidth. The proximity of our servers
to SAFE (South Africa Far East Fiber Optic Cable Network)
ensures a complete, reliable and fast transfer of data
at higher speeds.

How do I do Unlimited Forwarding of
my emails? |
|
When you
are hosting your website, you get a fixed number of email
ID's @yourdomain.com. You can use one of these email ID's
to create Unlimited Forwarding of your emails. The advantage
of doing this is that any email addressed at your domain
but having a wrong prefix, gets forwarded to one common
email address. That way you do not miss any emails and
none of them bounce back. To enable unlimited forwarding
of all emails @yourdomain.com to a particular email address
that you have, in the email management control panel,
create one email as *@yourdomainname.com. Now you have
to forward this email ' *@yourdomain.com' to any particular
email address that you have under your domain or elsewhere.
Now all the emails that are addressed @yourdomain and
which do not exist will come to that particular email
address.
|
What is Keyword? |
|
A Keyword
provides a universal addressing system that allows people
to navigate the Web using common names in their own language
and character sets. Keywords simplify Web navigation and
are fast becoming the powerful new way to go directly
to a specific page on the Internet. A complement to domain
names, Keywords consist of names and brands without the
www's, dashes, symbols and dot-whatever extensions of
URLs. When entered into the Microsoft Internet Explorer
browser command line, Keywords take users directly and
intuitively to the information they seek, at no cost to
Internet users and with no special downloads.
For example, instead of typing http://www.msn.com, you
can simply type the Keyword: MSN to be delivered to that
Website. No "http://", no ".com", just the company or
brand name as it is already known, advertised and recognized.
Since the Keyword System is based on Unicode, it is not
restricted to the 37 ASCII characters available to the
Domain Name System. In fact, almost any character set
can be represented, including Cyrillic, Arabic, Chinese,
Japanese and Korean. For the first time, this opens up
the global Internet to languages beyond those using Roman
characters.
|
Where
do Keywords work? |
|
Keywords can
be used in the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser command
line, worldwide. Keywords also work in other Keyword-enabled
environments such as MSN Explorer and NeoPlanet browsers,
major search engines such as MSN and Looksmart, and on mobile
phones via the Openwave Mobile Access Gateway.
|
Are
Keywords case-sensitive? |
|
No, Keywords
are not case-sensitive; a user may type Keywords in upper
or lower case. However, they are sensitive to special characters
like spaces and ampersands.
|
How
are Keywords different from Domain Names? |
|
Keywords complement
your domain names, to deliver a user-friendly, next generation
web address. However, there are several distinctions between
Keywords and domain names. Keywords provide added functionality
to the users needs like supporting multiple languages and
character sets, enhance brand identity by allowing multiple
words and special characters, they are easy to remember
and to use, they provide usage tracking and reporting and
can work across all Internet-enabled platforms.
|
I
already have a domain name. Why do I need a Keyword? |
|
A domain name
is essential to provide a DNS entry for your Web site and
email system. However, the system limits users to 37 Roman
characters and numbers, lower case only. Keywords can use
the same words and spaces as your company or brand name,
and in any language and character set. For this reason,
Keywords are far more memorable and intuitive than URLs,
and far more likely to be recognized and used by your customers.
|
Why
should my business register Keywords in different countries? |
|
Businesses can
have their brand / identities exposed online. Country-specific
Keywords allow you to prevent unauthorized use of your trademarks,
brands and licensed names worldwide. Country-specific Keywords
also allow you to manage and deliver your customers to any
Web page on your international site(s) through direct and
intuitive browser navigation. MintValleys Keyword Services
enables registration of your keyword in India, the U.K or
the U.S.A
